Business Details
We have been operating since 1913, building over a century of family-owned expertise in landscaping and groundworks. Our business is now directed by the third generation of the Shanks family, ensuring continuity and deep-rooted knowledge. We established a dedicated landscaping division in 2003, expanding into domestic and commercial project management. Our arboricultural team provides over 16 years of specialist tree care experience, supported by C531 and CS32 certifications. We cultivate our own turf on-site, giving us unique control over the quality of our sports surfaces and lawn products. Our staff are fully insured and trained to the highest standards, capable of managing projects from planning through to completion.
We supply a comprehensive range of garden materials including topsoil, bark, compost, and manure produced on our farm. Our problem-solving approach covers everything from site clearance and stump grinding to complex sports ground construction programmes. We maintain a commitment to safe working practices and transparent communication throughout every contract we undertake. Our goal is to safely achieve the highest level of workmanship and customer service on every project across Scotland.
