Business Details
We are award-winning, contemporary landscape architects and garden designers working in London and Hertfordshire. Our practice is built upon an instinctive connection to nature, drawing inspiration from natural forms and patterns. We have successfully exhibited four show gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, demonstrating our expertise on one of the world's most prestigious stages. Our designs are a direct and measured response to each unique site and the specific needs of our clients. We believe that gardens do not need to be complicated; they should be simple, functional, and above all, beautiful. Our process is distinctive because we listen and respect our client's requirements and the surrounding environment. We formulate responses that are uncomplicated and generous, creating spaces that are functional yet relaxed and unpretentious.
Strong natural lines are softened by sumptuous planting palettes, and we use natural materials like stone and timber in a clean, crisp way. Our work is inspired not only by nature but also by architecture, furniture, jewellery, and contemporary design. We are honoured that Jane has served as an RHS assessor and judge for all major RHS shows for over 15 years. She currently sits on several selection committee panels, including those for the Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Palace. This deep involvement with the RHS ensures our work remains at the forefront of horticultural excellence and design innovation.

Services
Initial Meeting
We arrange to meet our client on site to understand the place and their brief. This allows us to outline their requirements and prepare a tailored fee proposal for the work. It is the foundational step in our collaborative design process.
Concept Sketch Master Plan
Following the client's brief and our site analysis, we produce the first hand-drawn sketch proposals. These establish our aims and objectives for the project and are used for discussion and feedback. This collaborative process allows us to develop the design further with the client.
Detailed Drawing
Once design ideas are approved, we create scaled CAD drawings with sufficient detail for contractors to price the project. We colour render these drawings so clients can read the design more clearly. We can also provide cross-sections, photo-montages, and 3D models for informed decision-making.
Planting Design
We produce a detailed planting plan or schedule for the project, accompanied by plant image boards and palettes. This service provides clients with comprehensive information about the proposed planting scheme. Our designs are inspired by the colour and textural changes the seasons bring.
Planning
We can produce drawings for planning applications and act as the client's agent when required. We liaise with planning, conservation, and tree officers on the client's behalf. We also assist and advise the project's architect on garden-related planning issues and conditions.
