Services
Trellis
This can be used as stand alone fencing although more generally used above a panel or closeboard fence to give more height but with an open aspect.
It comes with either 6in wide squares or for more privacy in 2-3in 'Chelsea' or small square.
We can also obtain Diamond square trellis if required although these are non standard and have to be made and therefore are generally more expensive.
Battens used are normally 30mm x25mm and very strong.
All timber is pressure treated and available in two colour shades.

Security Fencing and Chainlink
We are able to offer most types of security fence such as steel palisade (mainly used where security is an issue) and weld mesh systems for tennis courts / compounds etc at various heights.
We also undertake Chainlink fencing for commercial or domestic situations.
This can be either galvanised or PVC coated( green )on metal /.concrete or timber posts and is a fairly economical way to mark a boundary on long runs.

Decorative panels
These are a fairly newcomer to the market and offer a different look to the more traditional panels.
They are always 1.8m wide but vary a lot in style and height options with or without built in trellis.
They are of very strong construction.
They are only available in a very pale shade of green (this is the treatment) but are very smooth bein semi -prepared timber and will easily take a coat of you choice of shaded preservative if required.
They are generally imported and therefore are normally quite a lot more expensive than the more traditional panels.

SFAL can carry out various types of brickwork where required in garden situations.

We use a number of different bricks and blocks to suit each individual job beit an aged appearance or more modern look for the project.

Paving
Over the years Chris and co have carried out numerous paving projects for very satisfied customers.
All our paving is laid on a full bed of mortar over a compacted sub base and fully pointed.
This is the correct way and as recommended by the manufacturer for all of their slabs.
A paved patio is a great addition to any garden and can give years of pleasure with little maintenance if laid properly.
We can carry out most types of garden and driveway paving work including paths and feature areas as well as loose aggregate work with gravel/ slate and coloured chippings etc of which there is a large range to complement any project.

At SFAL we only use good quality 'Rolawn medallion' turf or similar for our turfing projects.
This ensures our clients receive the best weed free cultivated turf that is available.
With the range and choice recently of much higher quality artificial lawns than has previously been available SFAL can now offer this service which is becoming increasingly popular.
